The finished product is one that contains layers of black cherry, blackberry and a touch of barrel vanillin and espresso bean on the nose. The palate is rich and muscular with dark fruits, wild currant and cassis. The finish is long and elegant exuding the sophistication of a carefully crafted wine. Both structured and generous, this wine will age well to 2019 with potential for more.
