Six of the best of what Napa does best! We have hand selected six of the most exclusive and highly rated Cabernets. From some of Napa’s smallest and most sought after producers and are only made in a limited quantity each year. A great gift for yourself or a fellow wine lover!

Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 2004- The Neal Family has been farming vineyards in Napa Valley for almost 40 years. However, they just started to produce their own wines recently. The fruit for this Cabernet comes from several select hillside sites throughout Napa Valley. A wine that can be enjoyed in its youth or cellared for 7-12 years.

Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 2005- Dave Ramey is one of the Pioneers of Napa Valley. His groundbreaking work with indigenous yeasts, malolactic, and barrel fermentation yielded a new California style that was richer, more lush and silky smooth than previously known. The 2005 Cabernet is a testament to his unique style. This remarkably concentrated Cabernet finishes with firm but harmonious tannins and explosive fruit. 92 Points- Steven Tanzer.

Ladera Lone Canyon Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 2003- Ladera’s Lone Canyon Vineyard is 480 acres of steep terrain on the flanks of Mount Veeder. Most of the land is too steep to farm so only 75 acres are planted to vines. The 2003 Lone Canyon Cabernet is layered with textures that are bold and masculine, yet maintain tannins of a velvety character. All of Ladera’s wines are made by Karen Culler, one of our favorite winemakers.

Etude Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 2003- The word Etude, French for “Study,” refers to a short musical composition that is designed to provide practice of a certain skill. Winemaker Tony Soter embodies this in every way. Each of his wines is a reflection of the skill set that is needed to produce world class wines from different grape varieties. Aromas of dark red fruit, black plum, black cherry and mocha leap from the glass. 91 Points- Robert Parker.

White Rock Claret, Napa Valley, 2002- White Rock Vineyards have been producing wines in Northern Napa Valley for over 20 years. However, they remain one of the Valley’s best kept secrets. Most of their vineyards are planted in soil made up of white volcanic ash that requires the vines to dig deep to look for the mineral bed that gives the wine its distinct taste. The 2002 is a rich, ripe vintage. In the nose there are, blackberry, and plum aromas with a background of leather and chocolate and just a suggestion of toasty oak.

Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 2004- It wouldn’t be much of a Reserve Six Pack without a bottle of Duckhorn. Over the course of the past thirty years, Duckhorn has become known as one of the most consistent and sought after wineries in the Napa Valley. The 2004 Napa Cabernet shows you why. A full-bodied wine with a very smooth entry, excellent balance between oak and fruit, spicy tannins, and a lingering finish. The aroma is dominated by layers of blueberry, fig, and blackberry, accented by violet, spice, and a hint of bell pepper.
