Aiena, Pinot Noir, 2007 This wine is sourced from two different vineyards around Monterey the Mission Ranch is further from Monterey Bay, the climate is a little warmer, causing the grapes to ripen around the middle of September. This adds a darker and plush quality to the wine. Closer to the coast at the Silacci Vineyard, the grapes are still on the vine in the middle of September due to the cooling coastal influence. They are picked a few weeks later and due to the cooler climate they provide the acid backbone and bit more of the perfume to the nose. The resulting wine has the best of both worlds. $32.00

Truckee River Winery Garys' Vyd Pinot '05 750ml Bottle Limited production unfined and unfiltered carefully crafted in Truckee. The grapes are transported in a refrigerated truck, then crushed and cold soaked for up to 4 days. Fermentation starts slow because of the cool nights in Truckee and then ends strong about 4 weeks later. Our barrel aging cellars are a cool 50-55 F. Fisher Family Mtn Estate Cabernet 2005 750ml Bottle This inaugural vintage is perfectly timed with a growing season that offered beautiful balance and tannic structure that rivals Bordeaux. Aromas of violet, black cherry and blackberry rise from the glass.
